Rotate PDF reorients pages 90° or 180°. The change is applied as page-level rotation metadata, so file size and content are bit-identical to the source — no re-encoding, no quality loss, no rebuilt document.

Common reasons to rotate: scanner apps that saved a page sideways, photos of documents captured in landscape that should print as portrait, or PDFs assembled from mixed orientations. If a source file is encrypted, you'll need to unlock it first — protected PDFs can't be modified directly.
